1. How do I get my school and community involved in this program?                               top

Contact the superintendent or principal or lead teacher and discuss it. Permission from the administration is important because support from them is so important to having a successful program.

2. How do we get in touch with our Sister Schools?                               top

The Global Achievers office will contact you with all the necessary details such as name of the teacher, school, postal address, e-mail addresses, age of students, and other important information.

3. Where can I find information about import/export rules/regulations/tariffs?          top

Information on the Internet is very helpful concerning tariffs, exporting/importing, shipping, currency, and many other concerns.

http://www.ups.com - United Parcel Service provides the answers about shipping.

http://www.fedex.com - Federal Express provides assistance for packaging and freight questions.

http://www.usps.com - United States Postal Service web site is useful for questions about shipments, size packaging, and costs.

http://www.tradeinfo.net/hts/ - U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule provides information about various tariffs that may be applied.

4. What should I do if I can't contact my sister school
?                                top

If you and the students are not able to make a contact through e-mail, the next step is to fax your partner a message. If faxing doesn't work, send a letter using "snail mail." If none of these work, call or e-mail the Global Achievers office, and we will intervene.

5. Does it cost anything?                               top

The cost is a minimal $150 per year for the upper school and $100 for the L.I.N.K program. The fee will be due by October 1 of each year.
